Also during the summer of 2024, AFD has sent students to Togo to carry out an internship as part of their studies. They further developed the following assignments.

Raise awareness of climate change in the surrounding villages

Continuing the awareness presentations in surrounding villages. In villages that have previously been visited, the following steps are being taken to combat the deforestation process by planting a few symbolic trees together with the villagers.

 

Communication and marketing strategy

Akay Esseboe's website was renewed to reach a broader target audience. Social media has also been set up to contribute to raising awareness of climate change among the Togolese population.
