ABOUT US
The eight founding members of the non-profit organization Akay Esseboe come from regions all over Belgium: Flanders, Wallonia and Brussels.
At the General Meeting at which the non-profit organisation was founded, Bobee Bouka, from Togo, was appointed to take on the role of Chairman of the non-profit organisation.
During his first trip to Togo, he discovered that the effects of climate change were blatant.
In addition to the drought problem, there is an important phenomenon of deforestation that poses a risk to the ecosystem, the health of the population and their food supply. From these observations the idea was born to establish a 'School of Life, Ecology and Sustainable Development' in Togo.
OUR OBJECTIVES
Raise awareness among West African governments and students of the progress of the Sahel desert towards coastal states and the risks that desertification poses to the ecosystem, the health of the population and their food supply
To create the "School of Life, Ecology and Sustainable Development" in Togo; these green classes are intended to stimulate students' contact with nature and promote reforestation
In Belgium and elsewhere, create the necessary synergies so that the "School of Life, Ecology and Sustainable Development", being set up in Togo, can achieve its objectives. The association aims to support this development cooperation project technically, humanly, financially and morally.
